Skinfix Face Cleansing Cloths

Everyone knows that it is important to remove makeup at the end of the day, but there are so many choices out there for how to remove makeup that it can feel overwhelming. Recently, I was able to try the Skinfix Face Cleansing Cloths, which can be purchased online for $15 for 20 individually wrapped wipes.

I will admit that these cloths worked well. They felt nourishing to the skin and they removed all of the makeup I was wearing, even stubborn eye makeup. If you’re looking for a more natural product, this one is a good pick. It’s 99% natural, and it works well. However, it can get really pricey, which is one of the reasons I tend to stay away from wipes. These are almost $1 per wipe, which adds up to hundreds of dollars over the course of a year. Sure, there are plenty of more expensive products out there, but there are also much cheaper makeup removal products that do just as great a job (for instance, a $6 bottle of Simple Micellar Water which will last much longer than 6 days).

Do wipes work better than balms or liquid makeup removers? I don’t think so. My favorite makeup remover is Clinique’s Take the Day Off Balm, which is not an all-natural product but which also feels nourishing on the skin.

Ultimately, I think it’s a very personal decision. You have to find what medium and method you prefer and that works best for your skin. If you’ve decided that you prefer wipes, I think these Skinfix ones are a great choice.

How do you choose to remove your makeup? I’d love to hear from you in the comment section.

Thanks for reading!

  1. I tend to use cleansing balms and micellar water to remove makeup most nights but prefer wipes when I travel – Say Yes to Cucumber Hypoallergenic Facial Wipes are a great, inexpensive option.
